Hello everyone!
How are you doing? I’ve been a little busy starting to build a new vegan friendly & green home for me and my boyfriend, putting some work stuff forward, etc., so I haven’t been able to write before! Now that’s the time when I make a little resume about the last days, including interesting data (if you are living in Barcelona you’ll find out something specially for you!). Let’s get it started, then.

I have been using few premises from this book called Slice of the Good Life by Sheherazade Goldsmith – spanish edition: “Pequeños gestos para una vida orgánica, editorial Blume“-. I found it few months ago and it really made me think about a lot of products that we normally use in our day life that are actually harming us, as well as what kind of little gestures we can incorporate to our lifestyle in order to be more sustainable, self-sufficient and improve dramatically our health & life quality! You can get your copy here.
By and large, I started planting & growing some green leaf plants in the balcony such as arugula, rosemary, mint and spinach because they are resistant to the winter’s cold; I did basil’s oil; I recycled furniture just painting it with blackboard paint and adding some complements to it… And I am still doing more stuff! (I can’t stop!).

In terms of food, I decided to start planning the meals for few reasons I explained you in the last entrance. In order to achieve it, I needed to have good suppliers based in Barcelona:
• In the veggie’s case, I just had to join a local Green Consumption Cooperative that provides me of ecologic seasonal veggies; I will combine the veggies that they offer me with the one’s I will grow in my balcony soon.
• About cereals & flour variety I used to go to Granel Barcelona because they practiced a volume sale, so it made the prices very low; and not to mention that all the products were green! So quality was guarantied. Unfortunately, they recently stop selling and they have become a vegan restaurant, that’s the reason why I am currently finding out a new shop with similar features. I have to visit another volume sale’s provider called J.Renobell that is located in Passeig Picasso, 34.
• When it comes about seitan and the rest of the soy products & derivatives, I use to visit little local shops specialized on it (Vegania, Ecocentre, etc.).
I could tell you more stuff, but today the time is over. I wish you a happy End of the World’s day! :P

good luck in this new stage, dear! i’m delighted to have you a little closer!
let me see if I can find the book you mention, ’cause when i took a look, it seemed very interesting!
love u!
:) If you can’t find it just tell me! I found it in “La Central” library, it is also very cheap. mua!*
